The British Esports Association has announced an exclusive university-level partnership with the College of Esports. The deal will see the creation of a portfolio of university degrees from Foundation to Undergraduate to Postgraduate levels, with all three levels of education being taught at the College of Esports campus at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

Courses are set to begin in the 2022/2023 academic year, with students starting in September/October 2022. It has also been mentioned in the press release that the British Esports Association will not be directly teaching the degree, but has provided the College of Esports guidance in ensuring it is correctly taught.

"We're delighted to have signed this exclusive university-level partnership with the College of Esports to help deliver esports business degrees and ensure a bright future for our exciting industry," said British Esports Association chair Andy Payne OBE. "Esports not only offers many exciting career opportunities, it also gives people essential transferable skills that can be applied to many other roles and industries."

In terms of what the courses will each teach, we're told that it will cover the business of international esports, IP rights, management of players and talent, event management, sponsorship, logistics, marketing, business, and more.
